Imagine you're standing in a long line of men that look just like you.  Strong, handsome, and determined for the job you're all about to interview for.  You've all dressed for the occasion, some men have full suits, while others are dressed slightly down than that, but for that matter you all look good.  So it's your turn to step into the office.  You walk in and you tell yourself you got this job, you tell yourself there's nothing you want more and there's not a man in that room (not even the boss) that can do this job better than you can. And the boss can see this, his assistant can see it, and even more so, they can see the fire red socks peeking from under the bottom of your pants.  They're a strong, bold color, and while everyone else opted for the usual black or dark blue, you made sure to stand out.  Just as you should.  Because you have the control.  You knew when you woke up that morning that you were going to make sure that company remembered you.  So you donned the red socks, the bread winners you knew would come through.  

So maybe you get the job and maybe you don't.  Maybe the boss thinks your red socks made you seem a bit too confident.  But can you blame him?  And even if you don't get the job, you did get the secretary's number after she complimented your ability to add excitement to your wardrobe.
